Gemmy joined FTVentures in 2008 and is currently an Associate with investment responsibilities in software. Prior to joining FTVentures, Gemmy was an Analyst with The Monitor Group in the Finance Strategy and M&A Advisory Group. Gemmy's work at The Monitor Group began in general strategy consulting where he helped analyze companies in high-tech, biotechnology, consumer products, defense, and the non-profit sector. He also founded Monitor's San Francisco branch of Inspire, a non-profit consulting service for youth organizations. Gemmy has a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
