Bob joined FTVentures in 2002 as a Partner and leader of the software team. He transitioned to Venture Partner in 2005. Bob has over 25 years of experience in venture capital and the software industry. He co-founded Battery Ventures in 1983 and was instrumental in building that firm into a market leader in the venture capital industry. Prior to founding Battery Ventures, Bob held senior positions with First Chicago and Hayden Stone. Bob received a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard University.

Bob was previously a board member of Actimze (acquired by NICE Systems NASDAQ:NICE) and Digital Harbor (acquired by Norkom Technologies LSE: NORK).

Additionally, Bob is a board member of Peerless Systems Corp. (NASDAQ:PRLS).
